OTP Summit 2026 Bern

5th-9th of October 2026

The worldwide OpenTripPlanner community is meeting in Bern, Switzerland, from 5–9 October 2026, as part of the Open Transport Community Conference (OTCC). Expect talks and discussions on all items for OTP, plenty of chances to socialise, and — new this year — a joint (un)program with the Open Transport Community.

Schedule

The main conference on Thursday and Friday is open to anyone interested in OTP, from newcomers to experienced users — this is the best entry point if your organization is exploring OTP for the first time.

The Monday–Wednesday sessions require prior OTP knowledge and involvement to get the most out of them. They include a dedicated OTP Product Day on Wednesday for companies actively contributing to OTP development.

Monday

Location: Not chosen yet

OTP-only program at a different venue, aimed at developers with OTP expertise.

Tuesday-Wednesday: OTCC Hackdays

These sessions are aimed at developers who are already very familiar with OTP development and to interact and collaborate with the OTCC community.

Location:

Trüsselstrasse 2
3014 Bern
Switzerland

Thursday-Friday: OTCC (Un)conference

This year, we co-host with OTCC to strengthen collaboration in open-source mobility. At this conference, many members of the OTP community will be present. Here you will be able to learn about the product, usage, future plans, and see if OTP may be the solution fitting your needs, alongside attracting new designers and developers to our community.

There will be ample opportunity to socialise.

Location:

SBB Headquarters
Hilfikerstrasse 1
3014 Bern
Switzerland
